The STAR RAPID RESPONSE procedure:

• An alarm is activated.
• The nearest STAR RAPID RESPONSE Vehicle is dispatched to the required premises.
• The STAR Control Room contacts the VERIFY contact number of the client.
• The Key holders of the premises are then contacted.
• The STAR RAPID RESPONSE officer will get there as quickly as possible & does a full parameter check.
• The officer will then wait for the key holder to get there if he/she is able to and is on the way.
• A burglary slip is then filled out.
• If there are signs of forced entry the officer will secure the premises & stay there until they are no longer required to.

Star AlarmS

The original STAR name was built based on the Alarm Division founded by Joe Van Rensburg and his wife Daryl in 1979.  He passed down his knowledge and meticulous attention to detail to his sons, Craig and Jody who joined the business in 1995 and 1996 respectively. The STAR ALARMS technical department is extremely knowledgeable and at the helm of this department for the last five years is Louis Burger, an expert in the field of alarm installation.

The Control Room:

STAR ALARMS Control Room is kitted out with the latest technology in signal receiving units and offers clients 3 possible points of contact:

• Alarm Activation signal via TELEPHONE: The most effective signal but the slowest.
• Alarm Activation signal via RADIO PAD: STAR ALARMS has its own radio frequency therefore there are no shared or jumbled signals
• Alarm Activation signal via GSM (cellular telephone): The most expensive method but the best with regard to a combination of speed and effectiveness.
